Had to make three attempts at setting the anchor in the creek but finally got a good hold then settled down to lunch. After a good lunch in tranquil surroundings lifted anchor and headed home at a steady 6kts at in st the tide. Brilliant days cruise.

Crew Names: Ray, Annette & Marion
Cruise Notes: Took my sister, Marion, on her first sea trip out on a boat. Departed from Chatham and ran out to Bishops Marsh before turning back. Many small sailing dinghies out on the estuary so the ran back was slower than the run out due to having to steer around them. The lock gate was open as we headed back so took the advantage of going straight in rather than go on to Rochester.
